Obviously, for the purposes of this demo experience, you are taking this assessment as an individual rather than as a member of a team. Nevertheless, there are two great benefits to taking this assessment:
- To experience what participants experience when they take the assessment and to become familiar with the format and questions included in the assessment.
- To discover your All Types™ personality type. (Read about your personality type on pages 8, 9, 10, 11, 16 and 37.)
Though you won’t be taking this assessment as part of a team, you can choose to answer the questions as they relate to your current team or, if you are not currently a member of a team, based on a previous team you have been on. The team assessment is a benchmark; the purpose is to give the team a sense of its unique strengths and areas for improvement. It’s a tool that tells the team where it is now so that team members can decide what kinds of changes they want to make. With this in mind, the team obviously benefits when everyone involved takes the assessment seriously by answering all the questions candidly. (The team survey results are anonymous.)
The assessment process takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. At the end of the assessment, you will receive a sample report with your own personality type and then team results for the fictional DecisionTech team. (From Patrick Lencioni’s best selling book “The Five Dysfunctions of a Team“, the basis for this assessment and workshop.) You will have an opportunity to view/print, send, or save your sample report. We suggest that you view/print and then save the report.
